中考英語(yǔ)知識(shí)點(diǎn)：表示“在......下面”

　　*①below表示“在......下面”時(shí)，指處于比某物低的位置，不一定在某物的正下方。它在的反義詞是above。如：Write your name below the line.

　　We are below the moon.

　�、赽elow還常用來(lái)指數(shù)量、價(jià)值、程度等“低于......，在......以下”。如：

　　The number is below ten.

　　He is below twenty years old.

　　*①u(mài)nder表示“在......下面”的意思時(shí)，有時(shí)可與below通用，但它指處于某物的正下方，其反義詞是over。如：He stood under a tree.

　　The cat was under the table.

　�、诒硎緮�(shù)量、年齡、程度時(shí)，under可與below互換，但在表示人的關(guān)系時(shí)，below表示級(jí)別“低于......”，under表示“在......領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、管轄之下”。如：I placed under him.

　　He is next in rank below the mayor.
